Introducing your new travel companion: The Michael Andrews Bespoke Traveler Jacket. Crafted from Loro Piana’s innovative Rain System fabric, the material itself is water repellent. Not to mention, extremely luxurious (read S150s wool with silk) and comfortable (ie just the right amount of stretch). What’s more, we’ve added shoulder panels, patch flap pockets, and shirt- sewn shoulders to further enhance impermeability. The removable dickey adds an extra layer of protection and is easily removed after sudden showers (or before happy hours).

And the zippered ticket and vertical interior breast pockets ensure both easy access and that your valuables remains secure in transit. It may sounds hyperbolic, but you’re going to wonder how you ever travelled before without it.

Now that you've received your try-on garment, it's time to assess the fit and make any necessary corrections -- this is the first step to achieving your personalized custom fit. I'm about to personally walk you through the entire assessment process, but first let's make sure that you have been sent the correct try-on garments for you. Watch this introductory video before beginning your fit assessment.

Each piece in the shop has been thoughtfully curated by the Michael Andrews team. While displayed in our recommended styling, each garment can be customized to suit your personal preferences.

02. Sizing

Create or Update Your Pattern

EXISTING CLIENTS: If you are an existing client with a pattern on file, we will use it to craft your garments. Need adjustments? Let us know, and we can arrange an in-person or video consultation to update your pattern.

NEW CLIENTS: If you are a new client ordering from outside the New York area, we will send you a try-on garment, typically within two weeks. Once you receive it, we’ll schedule a video fitting with one of our expert stylists to review the fit and make any necessary adjustments.

After the initial try-on fitting, for bespoke orders, we will create a prototype garment specifically for you to further refine the exact shape of your pattern.

03. Make

Crafted to Your Precise Measurements

Once we have determined the correct sizing for your garment, it will be made precisely to your measurements. When it’s ready, we will notify you to schedule an in-person or virtual fitting. Any necessary adjustments will be made at no additional cost, following our standard alterations policy.

04. Enjoy

Receive Your Custom Clothing

In about four to six weeks after your try-on or prototype fitting, you will receive your final garment(s). Try not to gloat too much as your friends envy your new clothes.
